No watch maker expresses themselves so creatively. Unfortunately, Silberstein has retired and his eponymous company is no longer producing watches.

Take a gander at this black case Krono 2 from 1993. It is a limited edition of 999 watches and this is watch number 332. Case is 38mm diameter by 15mm thick. This is Silberstein’s classic case with straight tubular lugs and decorated geometric crown and chronograph pushers. Sapphire crystals in front and in the display back.

Dial is black and white with green, yellow and red hands. There is a lot happening on the dial: Day and Month apertures beneath 12 o’clock; moon phase and chronograph 12 hour totalizer at 6 o’clock; running seconds and 24 hour time at 9 o’clock; chronograph minutes totalizer is sub dial the surrounds Day and Month apertures; date is indicated at the periphery of the dial with the red crescent tipped hand. The main time hands are green. The chronograph seconds hand is yellow and wavy.

Movement is the Valjoux 7751 calendar chronograph caliber with automatic winding and 17 jewels. Winding rotor is gold and signed with the Alain Silberstein logo and signed “1993” as this watch is a 1993 limited edition timepiece.
