Price reduced further! Pair of 19th century carved wooden hunting fetishes, male and female deer. These totems would be have been relied upon to insure an abundant deer population and success in hunting. Similar examples of both wildlife and domesticated animals can still be seen in rural temples in far northern Thailand and parts of Burma. Of the Shan culture in the Mandalay period, these are particularly fine examples.
