The motor is in near-mint condition and ran fine the last time I used it. The boat itself is a wooden sailboat and it needs a lot of work. The catch is, it's a fixed-type outboard motor with remote throttle/key start/shifter so it can't easily be detached from the boat. So the motor/boat/trailer comes as a package, take it or leave it. Tohatsu 9.8 HP turns over with good compression, oil is fine, trailer is solid, wooden hull is scrap/project but a local craftsman could probably get it seaworthy for under 10,000 baht I'm guessing, and then you'd have a sailboat capable of sailing out to the islands (I've done so in this same boat) for under 30,000 baht. Sold as-is where-is. 20,000 baht firm. That's a great price for the motor alone. The boat includes a huge galvanized anchor which I bought new about five years ago and a long length of galvanized chain probably worth more than 10,000 baht which I'm including at no extra charge. The sail is probably fine too. Selling due to health and lack of interest in a restoration project. I have purchase documentation (for the whole boat and trailer, which came with the motor when I bought it), registration records, etc. if you want them. Located in Banglamung town. No looky-loos, don't waste my time. Contact by email only and I'll decide if you're serious to warrant a reply. I'm not opposed to you trying to start the motor but be aware that rubber impellers need to be replaced annually and this one is about four years old, so it would probably shred as soon as you start it. The rubber impeller is inexpensive and an easy DIY project that takes less than one hour. If you decide to try to start the motor then you'll need a bucket large enough to set the outboard in, a 12v battery (it has a pull-starter but I believe starting it without a battery attached would fry the alternator) and maybe fiddle with the throttle/shifter cables. The first person to show up with a truck (or tow truck) with a 2-inch ball hitch and 20,000 baht pulls it away.
