Saveke, 48 ft Laurie Davidson sloop
Laurie Davidson, he of America’s Cup fame in New Zealand, designed this boat as his personal liveaboard and also as a fast, sleek sloop quite capable of long distance passages as well as coastal cruising.
Built in 1979 in Lyttelton shipyard outside Christchurch.
With her elongated fin keel, large main and foresails and all lines running to the well protected Centre cockpit, Saveke provides comfort and safety for you and the crew.
Since we took her over about 18 months ago we have removed all deck teak, upgraded all dorades, purchased new 3kv genny, replaced all port light frames with aluminum, replaced aft cabin double with a full king size bed and installed a sail bag and lazy lines on the new main along with new MPPT solar controller and AIS units.
Saveke is currently on a mooring outside Yacht Haven marina in North Phuket and is offered for sale at 100,000 AUD, 67,000USD or 2.34M baht.
