Time served Mechanical Engineer/Fitter, British Nuclear Fuels Plc, (UK)
Currently selfemployed, over 35 years of engineering experience which include projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Atomic Energy and the Automotive industries.
My comprehensive experience includes hands-on, supervision/advisor and close liaison between management, sub-contractors, client and local authorities.
Project locations include - Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Singapore and the UK.
Previous experience includes re-building machine tools, CNC retrofits, installations, commissioning, and factory re-locations, piping systems, rotating equipment, schedule & preventive maintenance procedures. Ensuring safety, meeting customer deadlines and working to the required international standards.
I have since opened my own company and been involved with used machinery and heavy equipment sales and installations worldwide; this involves machine inspections, evaluations, machine removals/installations and preparation for shipment/delivery. A wide variety of machines from small tool room equipment up to 250 ton floor boring machines.
