We're selling our company-owned luxury condo located at Khao Sam Muk near Laem Taen, at the northern end of the Bangsaen Beach area.
This is in Chonburi Province about 49kms to the north of Central Pattaya, in an area visited by some but very few foreigners.
Bangsaen Beach itself is a long 3km white-sandy beach popular with Thais especially on weekends. Just beyond the beach area's northern end, a rocky waterfront area extends to the Laem Taem headland and beyond to Sam Muk Mountain. The condo is located on the western edge of the mountain in an absolute waterfront location with its own private beach and picnic area. There are no roads or public access between the condo property and the waterfront, you are litteraly waterfront
We intentionally chose this location when we first purchased because this is a quiet and clean area away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance to local shops, restaurants, markets and the waterfront prominade area which extends for over 2kms following the coast and the waters edge to join up to the 3km coastal pathway which follows the entire length of Bangsaen Beach. Yes, over 5km of walking and jogging tracks with water views the entire way.
The prominade area at Laem Taen hosts the Bangsaen markets across weekend evenings and the area hosts various international events including the annual Bangsaen Gran Prix, International Beach Volleyball competitions, and numerous exhibitions and events. The area features a large open waterfront prominade where people do their early morning exercises and families gather for evening picnics.
You have the peace and quiet and facilities of the condo and its complex to enjoy, or venture not far to a wide range of local attractions and services.
Schools, universities, hospitals and medical care are close by. The area also hosts several golf courses, parks and waterfalls, the enormous Bang Phra resevoir with its walking and jogging tracks, the famous Khao Kheow Open Zoo and Ko Sichang island. It's a one hour drive to Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi international airport to the north. To the south, there's easy access via Sukhumvit Road and various motorways to Sriracha, Laem Chabang port city, Pattaya, Jomtien, Sattahip, Rayong and Chantaburi.
