Nauticraft Escapade Pedal Craft
This is the Nauticraft Escapade! The worlds finest personal pedal craft. Imported by me, directly from Michigan, USA in 2016. Very rare in Thailand.
My Escapade has pedaled to Koh Samet, Koh Sri Chang and done some coastal exploring all securely and fun. Others have crossed the English Channel in an Escapade! It’s easy to pedal and quite secure as its keel stabilized. Pedaling is efficient and similar to calmly pedaling a bicycle. It seats 2 comfortably. The ballasted keel makes for solid performance through the water. It draws about 20 inches of depth and pedals through chop and waves without issue. It also has positive buoyancy so it won’t theoretically sink. Two anchors are included.
I added an electric Torqeedo motor, (not for primary propulsion) but to back you up if you want a break. The Escapade can carry you and your partner plus a cooler for your snacks and beverages as you go beach or island hoping. A bimini shields you from the sun, and a removeable windscreen for protection.
This is a rare and fantastic boat. I’d like to see this special craft go to an enthusiastic owner that appreciates its attributes.
The landed cost when I imported was about 325,000 baht and the Torqeedo was an additional 50,000 baht thus an all-in value of 375,000 baht. My selling price of 76,000 baht makes this a steal! This includes the trailer for road transport. The boat has only been used less than 8 times. (Too busy working)
