Conclusion
The Nokton f/0.95 is an astounding lens. If you are seriously investing in Micro Four Thirds cameras, this lens offers excellent build quality, ease of use and images, which are all worth the investment.

Voigtlander's Nokton 25mm f/0.95 Lens for Micro Four Thirds Cameras has an extraordinarily wide maximum aperture of f/0.95--more than a full stop faster than a very fast f/1.4. This lens is equivalent to a "normal" 50mm lens in 35mm format and is capable of producing extremely shallow depth of field at wide apertures--an effect not always easy to accomplish with small-sensor cameras like those in the Micro Four Thirds format.

This lens is manufactured by Cosina in Japan, and has very solid construction, with strictly manual focus and manual exposure--there's no electronic connection to the camera, only mechanical. The Nokton is an "old-school" lens in the best sense and requires the same level of attention as manual-focus, manual-aperture lens of the past, but the rewards might be worth it--there aren't many lenses like this for non-SLR cameras. A caps for both side the lens are included.

Ultra fast f/0.95 25mm (equivalent to 50mm in 35mm format) Micro Four Thirds lens for low-light photography

Achieve extremely shallow depth of field when shooting wide open

The top-quality focusing mechanism moves smoothly without backlash, optimally supporting the photographer's creative interplay with the focal plane of high-speed fixed focal lengths. Engraving in both meters and feet and the focus scale provide additional support for manual focusing. The long focusing range is optimal for video photography. ● FUTURE-PROOF SOLUTION FOR HIGH-RESOLUTION CAMERA SYSTEMS: The excellent image performance of the ZEISS Milvus lenses is sharply focused on the requirements of current and future high-performance digital cameras. Thanks to the low level of stray light allowed by the lens design, high-contrast images are possible with increasing high dynamic ranges of the sensors (HDR). The minimization of coma, astigmatism and spherical aberrations enables consistently high resolution over the entire image field. The optics are designed to ensure full utilization of the performance provided by high-resolution camera systems. ● EXCELLENT IMAGERY, EVEN IN DIFFICULT LIGHT CONDITIONS: All lenses features ZEISS T* antireflective coating. In addition, all lens edges are finished with a special pitch-black lacquer in a complex manual process. Light traps in mechanical components and specially designed surfaces are integrated to prevent the occurrence of reflections. ● STABLE IMAGE PERFORMANCE OVER THE ENTIRE FOCUSING RANGE: State-of-the-art camera systems and high-resolution digital image sensors demand more and more performance from the lens. The Floating Elements Design permits constantly high image performance in the focal plane from the minimum object distance to infinity. ● DURABILITY AND PROTECTION AGAINST THE ELEMENTS: The all-metal housing has special seals for protection against dust and splashes to expand the photographer's creative potential by guaranteeing the system's functional reliability even in environmentally difficult situations. Whether in its role as a high-precision reproduction lens for technical applications or as a traditional, moderate tele-lens for portraits with shallow depth of field, the ZEISS Milvus 2/100M allows you to delve into both worlds. The ZEISS Milvus 2/100M of the type ZEISS Makro-Planar is currently the fastest 100 mm macro lens on the market and closes the gap between long range and breathtaking close-up shots. This lens bridges distances and allows unique image compositions. This lens is ideal when you need some distance between your camera and your subject, e.g.during a portrait shoot. Its precise mechanical components with a large focus throw permit precise control which is particularly important for macro photography in the close-up range. Excellent imagery, even in difficult light conditions Outstanding stray light reduction is achieved by combining a number of optimally matched measures. In addition to the ZEISS T* coating, all lens edges are provided with a special pitch-black lacquer in a complex manual process. Light traps in mechanical components and specially designed surfaces are integrated to prevent the occurrence of reflections. Future-proof solution for high-resolution camera systems The excellent image performance of the ZEISS Milvus Lenses is sharply focused on the requirements of current and future high-performance digital cameras. Thanks to the low level of stray light allowed by the lens design, high-contrast images are also possible with increasing high dynamic ranges of the sensors (HDR). The optics are designed to ensure full utilization of the performance provided by high-resolution camera systems. Creative still and video photography through precise, manual focusing Manually focusing a lens means controlling and therefore actively composing an image gently and precisely from your fingertips. Here, a good ergonomic design makes all the difference. ZEISS Milvus Lenses feature a large rotation angle which enables pinpoint focusing. The silent, continuous aperture setting and the long focusing range lay also optimal conditions for video photography. Long-lasting product with protection against environmental influences ZEISS Milvus Lenses will impress you not only due to their visual and haptic excellence, but also thanks to their inner qualities. Special seals for protection against dust and splashes expand the photographer's creative potential by guaranteeing the system's functional reliability even in environmentally difficult situations. Stable image performance over the entire focusing range The Floating Elements Design permits constantly high image performance in the focal plane – from the minimum object distance to infinity. This is accomplished by changing the axial distance between individual lens elements or element groups. The mechanical design of the ZEISS Milvus Lenses is highly complex and the workmanship must be extremely exact – both specialties of ZEISS. The Planar lens design is the most successful – and most frequently copied – camera lens design of all time. Modifications to the tried-and-tested six-lens basic type ensure that it achieves the high imaging quality required by modern sensors. Lenses with a Planar optical design enable consistent performance across a large range of image scales – the key requirement for universal macro-lenses. A portrait-length prime featuring a high 1:2 maximum magnification for close-up shooting, the Canon EF-mount Milvus 100mm f/2M ZE from ZEISS features a floating elements system for consistently high image quality when working with both near and distant subjects. Based on the classic Planar optical design, this lens features two anomalous partial dispersion glass elements to control aberrations and distortions for even illumination and sharpness throughout the aperture and focus ranges. An enhanced ZEISS T* anti-reflective coating has also been applied to lens elements to suppress flare and ghosting for increased contrast and clarity. The manual focus design is complemented by a rubberized focus ring for fine-tuned, precise control over your focus position. Additionally, Milvus-series lenses also feature an equally aesthetic and durable frosted, anodized metal lens-barrel surface along with a weather-sealed construction to protect against dust and moisture. Short telephoto prime is designed for Full Frame-format Canon EF-mount cameras, however can also be used with APS-C (EF-S Mount) models where it provides a 160mm equivalent focal length. Ideal for macro shooting, this lens offers a half life-size 1:2 maximum magnification along with a minimum focusing distance of 1.4' to suit working with close-up subjects. Bright f/2 maximum aperture benefits working in low-light conditions and also enables extensive control over depth of field. Planar optical design affords high sharpness and consistent performance throughout the focusing range to suit photographing at a wide range of imaging scales. Two anomalous partial dispersion elements are used to significantly reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations for increased clarity and color fidelity. ZEISS T* anti-reflective coating has been applied to each lens surface to help minimize reflections and provide greater contrast and color fidelity. Floating elements system helps to maintain consistent image quality throughout the entire focusing range. Manual focus design is benefitted by focusing and depth of field scales along with hard stops at both infinity and minimum focusing positions. Manual aperture ring has clicked indicators throughout aperture range. Weather-resistant construction includes internal seals to guard against dust and moisture as well as a blue sealing ring at the lens mount to protect the lens-camera interface. All-metal lens barrel has a frosted, anodized surface along with a rubberized focusing ring for both durability and improved tactile control.
