FOR SALE: • As new, mint: PEAVEY BANDIT 112 (original boxes and paperwork included) • Played maybe 5 times in my smoke-free living room. • Purchased just a few months ago • This amp can do ‘everything’. • 80 watts of power • A marvelous 12” ‘Blue Marvel’ speaker • In the USA, this is the most widely used in-house Club ‘back-line’ amp. Why, because they are so damn reliable (and they sound incredible!) Cab size: 28cm/58.5cm/48.5cm • I currently own 5 amps, and moving up to Chiang Mai, so one has to go. • Price Paid New: 14,500thb • Selling for: 11,900thb The Following Courtesy of: bestguitarsnow.com “Peavey Bandit 112 is one of the most popular (TransTube) solid-state amps for Rock, Metal, and even Blues. This particular model is known for its great sound and essentially good durability, and is really tough to destroy! What makes it so popular? Well, the amp features 80 Watts of power, a marvelous 12″ Blue Marvel speaker, two foot-switchable channels (clean and lead), a 3-band EQ, Low and High gain inputs and a built-in reverb effect. As you can imagine, all of these features give you access to a really wide range of guitar tones! When it comes to sound, it’s really powerful. Peavey used something called the TransTube tube emulation circuitry, which significantly improves the overall tone. The Bandit also benefits from a three-position voicing switch on its lead channels. The classic/modern/high gain demarcations are self-explanatory and allow you to dial in a variety of overdriven tones. The amp takes all types of pedals extremely well and it offers sparkling clean tones as well as punchy distorted sounds. Surely, a lot of you will fall in love with the versatility of that amp! The Bandit has some useful extras which aid performance and dynamic response. A variable power level switch attenuates the output power to either 25 or 50 per cent, which is useful should you find yourself in an environment where the full wattage is a little excessive, or more break-up is required from the clean channel. Similarly, the loose, medium and tight damping settings are worth experimenting with, particularly for higher-gain overdriven rhythm sounds. It is also worth mentioning that the amp looks fantastic from the outside as well. It certainly looks like a bit more expensive amp. The Black Tolex on that combo looks really cool and the finish is really well made. This is not exactly a cheap amp, but at the same time, it’s within reach of any guitar player out there. In fact, it will be really difficult to find a more affordable amp that features a similar amount of power and punch. That being said, Peavey Bandit 112 is not overpriced at all and it’s definitely worth the money!” Call or Text: 081-889-5940 BTS Nana Station
