The top of this refrigerator is Hitachi rated to support up to 25 Kg and safely handle temperatures up to 100 degrees Celsius. I found it convenient to operate my microwave oven from the top of this refrigerator and I also kept my dish drying rack on top of the microwave.

This refrigerator features 3 removable tempered crystal glass (not plastic) spill-proof shelves. Each glass shelf can support up to 100 Kg.

Hitachi's outstanding Customer Service Team offers full support for this specific model, so it is very easy to obtain replacement parts should anything need to be replaced in the future. I replaced the freezer door 3 months ago and replaced the interior door light switch about a year ago. Hitachi shipped both those parts to me in in Pattaya in 2 days after I paid for them. There are several motorsai taxi drivers directly opposite my apartment that you could pay for a few minutes of effort should you require assistance to load the refrigerator into your vehicle.
