Our Thai house is suitable as a holiday home, for weekends or just to live in.
Four people can stay in the house and the second seperate (bed) room with a toilet. On the lawn a tent can be set up, for when friends will come.
The kitchen is at the back of the house. Also a water tank of 2000 liters and a water well with pump are here. Same, a big satellite dish also suitable for foreign TV.
There is electricity and within short time Tessaban will start to work on the water connection. Our street is not too far from the village of Kram with its memorial of poet Sunthorn Phu.
You can walk there, go by bicycle or motorbike. Kleang is the largest city in the area and is about 12 kilometers away. That distance can also be covered sporty, only if there is a lot to buy the car is most convenient.
The green environment in which the house is situated brings peace. So far there are no neighbors except a small shrimp farm. On the plot are growing mango trees, bananas, palmtrees full of coconuts and the Holland papaya.
In Kram you can do your daily shopping. There is a vet, a green cross clinic and one or two pharmacies. Of course, the street food stalls are not lacking.
The distance to the sea and the Laem Mae Phim beach is about three kilometers. Along this road are the Post office, gas stations, fruit sales, many restaurants, coffee or tea rooms and barber shops.
Laem Mae Phim is an event in itself. The beach is wide and long. Those who like fresh fish can go here, to rest afterwards or enjoy the waves of the Gulf of Thailand!
To come from Bangkok by car, you follow the highway to Chonburi and take the 344 towards Chantaburi. In Klaeng follow roadnumber 3164 to Laem Mae Phim. In the centre of Kram you will encounter the Sunthorn Phu Monument next to a roundabout. From there its less than 1,5 km to reach the house.
