This old expat is gettin’ older every day. Now 77 years. Needing some exercise to avoid Sarcopenia and sloth. But motivation to go it alone, well, I just don’t have it. Thinking if I paid a trainer / gym buddy / drill seargent to come in twice a week, that could be the motivation I need. You don’t have to be a “professional” personal trainer, just know something about exercise plus possess enough patience to guide a crochety old man (that’d be me) to use good form and avoid injury. I will offer 1,500 baht per appointment, paid cash. Come to my condo in Bangkok, Bangna district (BTS Sukumvit Udomsuk station); twice a week. Schedule flexible. Thinking isometrics, body weight, etc. I have a few elastic bands, some isometric straps and handles, and a floor mat – not much, but enough to get started. Have a multi-function machine in the condo fitness room. I’ve been reading about BFR-KAATSU (blood flow restriction). I don’t have any BFR bands now, but we can discuss what to buy. Your questions or comments are welcome about any of this. I am open to new ideas and different approaches; anything that might put little muscle on these old bones.
