Pictures attached show dimensions and estimated weights
These high quality professionally built molds produce fiberglass hulls and decks for a 48’ (14.6m) cutter rigged cruising sailboat designed by US yacht designer C. Paine. This model was previously marketed as both the Explorer 48 and the Hallmark 48. Six boats have been exported to the U.S.
The interior is designed to be three different layouts. Two, three and four cabin versions with two (2) heads and showers from the one set of molds is a nice production cost saving feature.
Economical to run, the design uses a single 75 hp diesel auxiliary motor.
The mold set includes sub-molds for two fiberglass fuel tanks with a combined capacity of 500 Liters which is more than sufficient for long range weekend and overnight cruising.
Mold set also includes sub-molds for two fiberglass water tanks with a combined capacity of 750 liters.
The bolt-on winged keel ( 5,450 kgs lead ) is cast from a cement mold that is also included with the mold set. One picture attached with the measurements.
Charter Boats can be produced and put into service in rapid succession much more cost effectively and quicker than starting from zero.
Attached pictures show mold dimensions and weights.
Note that to reduce transport and shipping cost that the over-all height of deck on top of hull currently @ 5.10m high can be reduced to less than 4.0m to be able to pass underneath bridges and powerlines more easily by cutting back some of the steel reinforcing which was originally over-built for use in a particular yard cicumstances but other yards would not require this.
Priced as is / where is.
Assistance organizing crane and road low bed transport to another location can be provided upon request.
