This Evo 8 has been built from the ground up, using a Mitsubishi Lancer Cedia bare shell with steel roof, as a very high performance road vehicle, installing only the best parts and not caring about the budget, which ended at way over 3.0 million THB. Some local tuners just pump up the turbo boost, and then wait until stuff breaks. Here, we started with complete new internals for the drivetrain such as Sheptrans 5-gear transmission, 900 HP drive shafts etc. Then, the body was stiffened with the same parts as the RalliArt competition cars (which btw also had steel roofs as the FIA does not allow aluminum) full TEIN electric adjustable suspension. All APR studs. Skunk intake manifold. Twin center muffler cans enable normal conversation at highway speed. Detailed list of parts available, as well as the 450+ WHP Dyno sheet with regular fuel at a very safe 1.8 bar boost setting. Correct blue book. Conclusion: There simply are no sports cars available in Thailand with this kind of performance AND quality for less than 3 MB! The nearest thing is probably a Corolla GR AWD or a Civic Type R FWD. And another thing's for sure: You can't loose any money anymore on this car. The experts agree that there's only one way the market prices will go.
