I purchased Margarita last year with the plans of getting her ready to go cruising but my dream job came calling. I arrived in Thailand two weeks ago with plans to install 400W of Renogy solar panels and 2 victron MPPT charge controller. There is also a new Whale manual bilge pump with deck plate, an Ultra Safety Systems float switch and a carbon monoxide/dioxide detector.
If you are interested, I have the survey of Margarita from last year.
My days in Thailand are numbered. If you are interested, I'd love to hear from you.
Photos and information below.
Designed by Bill Crealock as a heavy displacement double ender for long distance cruising, this boat is the epitome of seaworthiness; built strong and heavy with huge interior volume. Renowned storage and load carrying ability. 6’ 3” of headroom above and a 5’ foot very full keel below. Margarita has recently completed a trans-Pacific voyage from Florida and is currently berthed in Thailand. She has been part of the family for over 22 years and we have completed many voyages together but now other interests have forced the difficult decision to sell. If your Looking for a sound, reliable, safe, well-loved and well looked after world cruiser, this is your yacht.
Down below, there is an enormous interior volume, definitely one of the largest and most
livable interiors for 32 feet. There is a generous full width V-berth forward followed by the
head, opposing settees and a centerline table. The Starboard settee slides out and the second
table leaf folds up to comfortably seat four around the dinner table. Galley to port and a sit
down chart table to starboard. The cushions require reupholster but Thailand is an ideal place
to have this work done allowing a new owner to custom design a layout that suits their taste.
The gorgeous teak and mahogany interior is highly varnished with lots of intricate inlay work.
Real (solid) Teak and Holley floors. Given 10 bronze opening ports, two reversible hatches
provide good ventilation.
