These four Buddhist Thangkas and Mandalas were painted by hand in Nepal nearly 15 years ago by a well-respected religious devotee, Sanja Lama, in Lakeside, Pokhara. Over the many years of our friendship I had bought more than 100 of these works from his gallery and sold them widely all around the world. In my opinion these four represent the finest in the art and so I have kept these with me as I moved from country to country. Now, I am anticipating a move to a non-Buddhist country and think it is time for me to part with these last four. As with all statues and images of Buddha, one is never an owner but must be considered a caretaker only. Each work is on thick, rubbed muslin cloth and measures 27 inches in height by 18.5 inches in width. All remain in very good condition. Each has been blessed. When I purchased these particular examples nearly 15 years ago I paid about $150 USD for each. I sold similar but inferior ones at $300 - $350 ( 9,000 - 11,000 THB) more than a decade ago.
